As your Council Member, I will:

Fight to save and re-open Mount Sinai Beth Israel, ensuring we maintain access to essential healthcare or push for a replacement hospital if it closes.

Expand public mental health services, including therapy, virtual care, psychiatric emergency beds, and crisis intervention teams to address mental health crises.

Advocate for a New Deal for NYC Health + Hospitals, expanding NYC Care and MetroPlus, supporting nursing staffing, and addressing capital needs in the system.
Affordable Healthcare
Healthcare isn’t just about treating illness—it’s about prevention, accessibility, and equity. I will fight to ensure that all New Yorkers have access to the care they deserve, regardless of their background or income. This means expanding mental health services, increasing access to primary care, and ensuring that our healthcare infrastructure is built to meet the needs of all residents.
My work will focus on strengthening our community health centers, improving emergency response capabilities, and ensuring that hospitals remain open and equipped to serve our neighborhoods. I am committed to ensuring that no one falls through the cracks when it comes to health.
