Protecting Democracy
Under President Trump, the White House has launched a direct attack on our rights, working to roll back protections and further divide New Yorkers. At this critical moment for our democracy, we face even more threats— from misinformation to political polarization—that undermine the rights and freedoms of many New Yorkers, especially women, LGBTQIA+ individuals, immigrants, and other marginalized communities.
That’s why I’m committed to working tirelessly to protect our democracy and ensure it remains accessible to all.
As your Council Member, I will:

Defend the rights of all New Yorkers—ensuring women, LGBTQIA+ individuals, immigrants, people of color, and other vulnerable groups are protected and empowered. I will fight to prevent any rollback of hard-won rights.

Prioritize transparency and accountability, expanding public participation to ensure the government is responsive and that New Yorkers’ voices are heard.
Push for election reforms that enhance voter power and reduce the influence of special interests. I will work to expand early voting, vote-by-mail, and other measures to increase access to the ballot. -
Advocate for stronger oversight of government spending and transparency in city contracts and policymaking. New Yorkers need to trust that tax dollars are spent efficiently and ethically.
